I woke up today feeling a little under the weather, low on energy and not quite myself. But instead of letting the heaviness linger, I decided to step outside and take a walk. Sometimes the smallest actions, just moving your body, breathing in the fresh air, shift your mood in ways you don’t expect.
What really lifted me though, was meeting a dear friend for coffee and breakfast. There’s something so comforting about being around people who just get you. No explanations are needed, no masks to wear, just ease, laughter, and presence. It was exactly what I needed, a reminder that I don’t always have to carry everything on my own.
The rest of the day turned out to be surprisingly productive. I focused on my photography and admin, sent out some applications, and then a pleasant surprise came my way. An ex-colleague reached out about a position at his company and offered to submit my CV. These quiet acts of kindness never go unnoticed. They carry a special meaning for me, a gentle reassurance that I’m not walking this journey alone.
Through this period, I’ve been overwhelmed by the goodness and kindness shown by those around me, family and friends checking in, lending a hand in small but meaningful ways, and just showering love from all angles. It touches me deeply. Support, care, and genuine connection are the anchors that hold me steady in uncertain times.
I ended the day with a grateful heart, reminded once again that resilience is never built in isolation, it grows in the presence of love, kindness, and community.
