It was a cooler morning, the kind that invites stillness and grounding. I began with yoga, easing into movement and breath, anchoring myself for the full day ahead. With clarity settled in, I turned to intention, sending out job applications and making progress on the practical steps forward.
Midmorning brought warmth of a different kind. I prepared a hearty stew for a loved one who’s been under the weather, an offering made with care, a reminder that healing lives in small acts and shared meals. The rest of the afternoon was filled with errands and momentum.
But the part of the day that truly lit me up was reconnecting over coffee with former colleagues and cherished friends. There’s something deeply nourishing about revisiting spaces where your journey began, with people who saw you grow, rise, lead, and transform. The catch-ups, the laughter, the shared memories… they filled my cup which is just what I needed.
And when I left the building, my former workplace, I felt truly energised. Buzzing, alive with ideas, possibilities, and a renewed sense of self. Just chatting and brainstorming with them was exactly the reset I needed. It reminded me not only of where I’ve been, but of how ready I am for what’s next.
Later, I returned to my course and poured fresh energy into my side project, still learning, still building, still moving. The day held rhythm, connection, intention, and by the end, I felt fulfilled.
I know in my heart that there’s a role waiting for me. One where my technical expertise meets emotional intelligence. Where collaboration thrives and growth is shared. I’m ready for it, and I’m affirming it!
