Flowing With the Tide

This morning held a kind of poetic contrast, fresh, cloudy skies wrapped in a soft breeze, and beneath it all, a subtle brightness beginning to rise. There’s a charm unique to overcast light… like the world is holding its breath before revealing its brilliance. I stepped into my day with a walk along the promenade, letting the crisp air ground me, letting the movement gently bring me home to myself.

There’s something sacred about starting the day in stillness and motion. I felt the cool breeze against my skin, noticed the sun peeking shyly from behind the clouds, and allowed myself to simply be. I lifted my lens, capturing quiet moments, the way the light touched the rocks, the hush before the waves broke, the silent poetry of it all.

And then, like a gift from the sea, a pod of dolphins appeared, playful, majestic, leaping through the surf with ease and freedom. I paused. Took slow, deep breaths. And witnessed their movement with awe. It felt like grace embodied, the ocean reminding me that there’s a rhythm far deeper than the one we try to control.

Back home, I returned to my course with fresh energy. The focus was real, steady, and intentional, I was determine to move forward. Each day in this season brings something new, a learning, a challenge, an unexpected moment of joy. But I’m discovering that attitude is everything. Perspective becomes compass. And when you let go of rigid control, you find yourself flowing instead, like the tide, steady and strong.

This is the rise. And I’m here for all of it.
